A fragment of the interior of the church was transformed by the artist into a complexly assembled colorful space. The airiness and saturation with light, typical for Gothic architecture, are preserved via the play of color spots, rather than the exact transmission of geometric relations. This is not a life sketch. The artist paints her impression, freely mixing the real image and the emotional state caused by it.
