Shkret’s signature method of image creation is a 3D modeling complemented by a manual drawing. The result is a paper or resin sculpture effect that creates a visual sense of the soft and streamlined materials used in modern industrial design. Expanding the image on geographic planes, Shkret creates portraits of animals and people. His series “Predators” is among most famous. Having worked out his author’s technology, the artist begins to explore its possibilities: he depicts his “blooming wolf” in a half-turn, plunging the animal’s face into a light haze, that smears the tactile and clear surface of the image.
