The print shows an ordinary evening: a man sits in front of his laptop in a room dimly lit by an orange light bulb. At this moment he distracted himself from the screen and looks out of the window — at the familiar panel area. The wide white fields of “Dusk” visually remove the image from the viewer, creating the effect of a window through which one can peer into the moment snatched from the everyday life. It is the same as any other evening moment, yet memorable and especially close.
