Addressing the problems of modern society, Kazakova creates a spectacular image-mirror of modern consumer culture. Joining the discourse on the perception of female body as a commodity, she depicts naked female bodies without sexualizing them. They are very ordinary, imperfect. Yet this does not save them from being objectified. They themselves are a “little too similar”, as if stamped, and their faces –traditionally most associated with individuality — are “packed” in blue plastic bags. This is the way the artist visually returns to the patriarchal culture what she herself turns the members of her society to.
