Lot 36 Year: 2017Material, technique: Oil on canvas
Size: 116 х 80 cm Estimate: $1233 Start bidding: $822 SOLD FOR $3288
Renat was born in the town of Vyshny Volochek, Kalinin region. He studied art in Alushta and Yalta and now works and lives in Crimea. This artist prefers the formalistic approach, and his works reflect a pronounced influence of the Silver Age artists. The auction presents his work that depicts sketchy images of naked female bodies in motion. The viewer sees the women as if through an optical device, which is, in essence, a method of observation of forms. This allows the artist to experiment with colours, texture, and create meta descriptions of the state of the subject using poetic but very formalistic images. Warm colours and the powerful cheerful mood, the atmosphere of elation and celebration are fully consistent with the title of the work.
