Pavel Kiselev is a young Moscow artist whose works combine sculptural elements, street art, and multi-layer voluminous collages. He also works with audio and visual installations. His works have been exhibited in MMOMA, Triumph Gallery, H’art Gallery (Romania), V_Museum — Platform Moscow (Germany); Pavel participated in the parallel program of the 5th International Biennial for Young Art, and ViennaFair (Austria). A participant of VLADEY auction. The mini-series of three works was created specifically for MOST auction. The Walls installation includes over 120 plaster reliefs, each of which was molded or painted using the materials related to the real murals and tags that can be found on Moscow streets and buildings. Spontaneous urban history is reflected on the walls of the buildings like chronicles on the pages of a book. Thanks to those “marks,” impersonal panel blocks, typical for various Russian towns, become recognizable local emblems.
