A chimerical creature with a half-female naked body is resting on the edge of a cliff in a typical seductive pose. In the background there is an expensive cottage; the seductive chimera is drinking a cocktail, leaning on a beautiful pillow. If it were not for the bird’s head on this idealized body, this would have been a common scene from an imaginary “beautiful life”, reproduced in Western culture. Refracting this image, the artist invites the unconscious into the space of the canvas.
