Anna Pavlova is a Moscow artist who works with the modern sculpture and ceramics; co-founder of the Mineral Weather jewelry brand. Her works were exhibited as part of the main project of the 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, in Transatlantique Gallery (Paris), Ovcharenko Gallery (Moscow). The artist’s ceramic works refer to the “cabinet of curiosities” and deal with the concept of mystification of archeology allowing to perceive the latter as a relevant statement. They display the desire to sort out the universe with its eternally unsolvable mysteries. The amount of the material gives the impression of a mystical discovery — the two-headed frog looks like an idol, a modern fetish.
